The blue markers show the location of Helms Middle School (towards the top) and Richmond High School (towards the bottom of the map), where the majority of Y-PLAN participants attend school. You can click on the + and - signs at the top left of the map to zoom in and out.

Welcome to Y-PLAN at Helms Middle School!
This blog is for Y-PLAN participants to document the process of creating a plan for the new community center.
Participants include LEAPS students at Helms Middle School and Richmond High School, as well as the three UC Berkeley mentors (Fernando Altamirano, Kevin Heiken and myself, Julianna Gallardo), the teachers and administrators, including Mr. Kim Jones, Ms. Jackie Huerta, and Ms. LaZena Jones.
